The project is based in Brasilia, but has regional and national range, delivering dogs across all over in Brazil.
The direct grantees of the Project are people with visual impairment (blind or low vision) earning possibilities of developing security, mobility and improved life quality. Through the guide dog they are able to be reintegrated into society. Also, people with various types of disabilities and disorders who receive, through the guide dog, improvement of life and reinstatement of common activities. Also, the claims of people with special needs are empowered, once they are best included and aware of their rights besides government and society.
Indirectly, the project benefits the families of people with disabilities because their loved oneshave greater independence and autonomy then. Companies, as employers, also take advantage of better trained people available to perform their functions in the labor market.
