Des Moines Lights Up for Essential Workers

Global Shapers Des Moines Hub will be putting on an awareness and donation campaign for the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines's COVID-19 Disaster Recovery Fund. This will include a social media campaign telling Shaper's personal stories related to COVID-19, as well as Shapers making custom LED luminaries for the community and dropping them off in front of participating houses on the night of April 16th to "light up" the city in recognition of essential workers. Donations from luminary purchases will go to the recovery fund.
