Boosting the Corona Testing

The Global Shapers Vienna Hub is implementing this project in order to speed up the Corona testing and contact-tracing methods of the City of Vienna. The campaign of the Global Shapers Vienna Hub triggered the opening of a second free testing-station and the assignment of 500 additional tracing-personal.

The camapign was set up after one of the Vienna Hub Shapers was tested positive for COVID-19, but did not get notified within the promised 48hours but only after 128hours, with no support in contact tracing by the public institutions of Vienna. As a result an online campaign was set up, including 10+ newspaper articles and two live TV interviews.
