Dr. Zhang Yongwei has long been committed to researching and promoting the development of the electric vehicle industry.
In recent years, he has been the head of major innovation projects for new energy vehicles and intelligent vehicles, which focuses on promoting the research on the top-level design, system innovation, laws and regulations, and technical strategies for the development of new energy vehicles and intelligent vehicles in China. He also participate in guiding some local pilot programs of intelligent and autonomous driving tests and industrial development work.
Dr. Zhang once served as deputy director and researcher of the Enterprise Research Institute of the Development Research Center (DRC) of the State Council, deputy secretary general of the China Development Research Foundation, deputy secretary general of the China Association of Listed Companies, deputy mayor and party member of Shenyang City. He is currently the Secretary-General and Chief Expert of China EV100.
