Yves Stevens (PhD, KU Leuven 2003) is a member of the Law Faculty of the KU Leuven in Belgium. He is a professor in Social Law. Pension law, complementary social insurances and elder law are his main fields of interest. He participated in several international research projects that brought him in Australia, Japan, USA, Bulgaria, Greece, Spain and many other European countries. HeÔÇÖs the chairman of the Occupational Pension Commission within the Belgian Control Authority on Financial and Insurance products and member of the EIOPA Occupational Pensions Stakeholder Group.
