Yoshiki Yasui

President and CEO, Yasui & Company

Yoshiki Yasui is a Japanese businessman and investor with a strong track record in raising capital and executing complex cross-border transactions. As President & CEO of Yasui & Co., he leads a global boutique investment bank specializing in mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and financial restructuring. The firm also engages in principal investments, building a dynamic portfolio of early-stage ventures in the U.S. and Japan.

Previously, Yoshiki founded and served as CEO of Origami, Japan’s first mobile payment company, which was later acquired by the publicly listed Japanese firm Mercari. He began his career in investment banking at Lehman Brothers before moving into venture capital at Silicon Valley-based DCM, where he led investments across the U.S., Japan, and China. He has served as a board member of the Payments Japan Association and advised Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry as part of the New Industrial Structure Council.

A Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum (Class of 2020), Yoshiki is also a Mentor and Innovation Fellow at the Harvard Innovation Labs. Born in Canada and raised between Toronto, New York, and Tokyo, he brings a truly global perspective to finance and investment. He holds a B.A. from Waseda University and an Executive Education certificate from the Global Leadership and Public Policy for the 21st Century Program at Harvard Kennedy School.
