Mr Yeo Wee Siong is the Group Director of Skills Development Group at SkillsFuture Singapore. He leads a team of Jobs-Skills Analysts, Data Scientists, and Futurists, to identify global trends that impact businesses, jobs and skills. Using labour market data, his team develops models and methods to uncover jobs-skills intelligence and insights that are delivered through analytics reports, digital products and solutions.
Wee Siong and his team also actively form close partnerships with sector agencies, tripartite partners, training providers and innovation-led firms, and international partners to further understanding of future of work, future of learning and future skills.
Prior to this, Wee Siong has held various appointments at the Ministry of Education. He oversaw the policy, planning and execution of student placement policies and admissions, and the various talent development schemes in schools and junior colleges.
He holds an MBA from the National University of Singapore, and obtained his degree from University of Tokyo.
