Vidyadhar Prabhudesai is an entrepreneur and behaviour change advocate. He is the co-founder of LeadCap Ventures with presence in 40 countries across Asia, Africa and Europe. Over the past one and half decade, LeadCap has been working with international institutions like the United Nations, World Bank, World Economic Forum, governments of nations including Libya, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, fortune 100 companies like Google, Unilever, Microsoft, and Micros Small Medium Enterprises and startups like Uber, Cred, Swiggy, Dunzo etc. He was nominated as Executive Director and Board Member of International Foundation for Sustainable, Peace and Development, a pre-eminent international institution based in Europe, where he conceptualized and spearheaded The Presidential Fellows Program. He is also co-founder of the Adopt India movement which plans to improve the plight of children who are orphaned or abandoned by bringing them into mainstream adoption channels and encourage child adoption as a family planning alternative.

Prabhudesai is also the Founding Curator of the Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum. He was the youth consultant to Asian Development Bank and former member of special consulting group to the Office of Principal Scientific Advisor, Govt of India. He was awarded "Thane Gaurav," second highest civilian status by Thane Municipal Corporation. He received the World Bank's Prize on Youth Employability for impacting more than 10 million youth and received special mentions across global platforms like The Doha Forum, United Nations Youth Envoy and Peace Child International. He received global fellowships from the United Nations for inclusive development, World Economic Forum for gender gap, Ford Foundation for media and technology governance, Royal Society of Arts towards social progress, and Commonwealth Foundation for youth empowerment. He is an alumni of Aegis School of Business and Thunderbird School of Global Management.
