Vera Kobalia is a board director, former economy minister, and international strategist whose work spans business, geopolitics, and public policy. She serves as Director and Audit Committee Chair at Arras Minerals, and was previously Director and Chair of the Sustainability Committee at Sandstorm Gold, whose all-share sale to Royal Gold became one of Canada’s largest public company transactions of 2025.

Earlier in her career, she served as Minister of Economy of Georgia and Advisor to the President of Georgia, and later as advisor to the Australian government in Indonesia. Vera holds a Master’s in International Relations from the University of Cambridge and is a Business in Vancouver 40 Under 40 recipient. She is a frequent speaker on geopolitics, governance, anti-corruption, and women’s leadership.
