Triin serves as the Secretary-General of the Estonian Ministry of Education and Research, where she oversees the overall management and strategic direction of the Ministry. In this role, she leads the work of deputy secretary-generals and ministry departments, and coordinates the activities of state institutions and government bodies within the Ministry’s purview. The departments of Communication and International Cooperation, Legal and Human Resources Policy, and Strategy and Finance report directly to her. Before her appointment as Secretary-General, Triin headed the Ministry’s Department of Vocational Education and Skills Policy and led Estonia’s national vocational education reform. Prior to joining the Ministry, she was the Director of the Tallinn School of Economics.
