With MIT: currently, Professor of Management and Director, Center for Collective Intelligence; concurrently, Founder and Director, Center for Collective Intelligence and Center for Coordination Science; founding Co-Director, Inventing the Organizations of the 21st Century initiative; research focuses on how new organizations can be designed to take advantage of the possibilities provided by information technology. Co-founder of three software companies. Inventor with 11 patents. Co-Editor, three books. Author, The Future of Work (2004) and over 100 research papers and book chapters.
