Thomas A. Kochan is a professor of industrial relations, work and employment. He is the George Maverick Bunker Professor of Management at the MIT Sloan School of Management. His current research focuses on strategies for shaping work of the future. He is past President of the International Industrial Relations Association and the Industrial Relations Research Association.
