Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi is Executive Chairman of TCC Group and Group Chief Executive Officer of Thai Beverage Public Company Limited (ThaiBev), which is a leading ASEAN beverage company and the largest in Thailand. He holds key positions in TCC Group’s companies, including as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thai Group Holdings Public Company Limited, Director and Chairman of the Board Executive Committee of Frasers Property Limited, and the First Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Executive Board of Berli Jucker Public Company Limited.
Under Mr. Thapana’s leadership, ThaiBev has grown from its core spirits and beer businesses into non-alcoholic beverage and food segments. He has also spearheaded ThaiBev's regional growth through a number of investments, including the acquisition of stakes in Singapore’s Fraser and Neave, Limited; Myanmar's Grand Royal Group; and Vietnam's Saigon Beer-Alcohol-Beverage Corporation, one of Vietnam’s leading beer brands.
Driven by the strong commitment, ThaiBev has become one of the largest Singapore-listed companies by market capitalization and a constituent of the Straits Times Index. It is also recognized as the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (“DJSI”) constituent in Beverages Industry and part of DJSI World family and DJSI Emerging Markets family.
A firm advocate of corporate governance and sustainable development, Mr. Thapana established ThaiBev’s “Enabling Sustainable Growth” strategy, ensuring business resilience while protecting the environment, supporting local communities and practising good corporate governance. He has championed sustainable development across the business, government and civil society sectors, and co-founded the Sustainability Expo, one of the largest events of its kind in Southeast Asia that showcases local and international sustainable development efforts.
He also supports and participates in the Thai government’s “Rurak Samakkee”, a public-private partnership program to promote economic development of local communities in the areas of agriculture, product value creation and community-based tourism.
Mr. Thapana is the founder and chairman of C asean, a non-profit organization with a mission to serve as a platform for ASEAN connectivity by promoting business, art and cultural connectivity across the region.
Mr. Thapana holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) and a Master of Science Administration (Financial Economics) from Boston University.
