Mr. Soopakij Chearavanont has extensive multinational investment and management experience in various industries. He is the Chairman of the CP Group, Chairman of CT Bright Holdings Limited and at the same time has been an Executive Director and Chairman of C.P. Lotus Corporation and Chairman of Chia Tai Enterprises International Limited and an Executive Director and Vice Chairman of C.P. Pokphand Co., Ltd, these companies listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. He is also a Director of True Corporation Public Company Limited, CP ALL Public Company Limited and Siam Makro Public Company Limited, these companies listed on the Thailand Stock Exchange, and also a Non-executive Director of Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China Limited, a company listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the Shanghai Stock Exchange. He also holds directorship in a subsidiaries of the Charoen Pokphand Group. He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in the College of Business and Public Administration of New York University, USA.
