Simon Liepold is international business and government affairs leader working in Microsoft’s Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs department. He is currently serving as Senior Director UN and International Affairs in Microsoft's UN Office in NYC. Before, he was the Deputy Chief of Staff to Microsoft’s Vice Chair and President, Brad Smith.
In his job, he is advancing Microsoft’s priorities through the strategic management of external multi-stakeholder engagements and outreach at the intersection of government, business, and civil society. As part of this work, Simon is driving programs around the world to help harness new technologies to enhance public discussion and policy formation of strategic importance.
