Samiya Sheikh is an award-winning community leader and innovation strategist dedicated to advancing inclusive, future-focused solutions for people and the planet.

As Director of Strategy and Operations at a consulting firm, she leads cross-sector initiatives that harness strategic foresight, systems thinking, and innovation to help organizations scale impact and navigate complexity. Her work is grounded in over a decade of experience across the Middle East, Europe and South America. Previously, Samiya advised Oman’s public healthcare sector on strategy, human capital development, and policy reform.

Deeply committed to social innovation, Samiya rebuilt the Global Shapers Muscat hub as curator, expanding its reach through initiatives focused on youth development, climate action, future skills, and mental health. She is also the founder of Earth Guardians, a grassroots movement supported by The Climate Reality Project that amplifies environmental leadership and climate resilience in the Global South.

She currently serves on the Global Shapers Longevity Economy Task Force under the World Economic Forum’s Centre for Financial and Monetary Systems, contributing to global efforts on financial resilience and intergenerational equity.

Samiya holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and a BSc in Business Management and Administration. She is deeply engaged in promoting inclusive leadership, intergenerational collaboration, and unlocking human potential to drive sustainable transformation.

Outside of work, Samiya enjoys crafting unique culinary experiences, wild hiking, and expressing herself through art and music.
