I've been a member of UBS's Group Executive Board since 2016. In 2021, I was named President UBS Switzerland and President Personal & Corporate Banking in addition to my role as Group Chief Operating Officer which I have held since 2018. I have also held roles as President UBS Europe, Middle East and Africa (2019-2021), Group Head Human Resources (2014-2017) and Chief Operating Officer for UBS Switzerland (2010-2014).

Prior to joining UBS in 2010, I led Credit Suisse’s Private Clients Region Zurich division for two years. From 1995 to 2008, I worked for McKinsey & Company, where I was named Partner in 2002. I earned both my PhD and master’s degree in business administration from the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland).

In addition, I'm a board member of UBS Business Solutions AG and a foundation board member of the UBS Pension Fund. Outside of UBS, I am vice-chairperson of the Board of Directors of SIX Group (chairperson of the nomination and compensation committee), a foundation council member of the UBS International Center of Economics in Society at the University of Zurich, and a foundation board member of the University Hospital Zurich Foundation.
