Roksana Ciurysek-Gedir is a banker and an artist. She is President of Pekao International and is an Artist In Residence at Faberge. Roksana has nearly 20 years of professional experience at leading financial institutions in London. Recently, she acted as Vice President of the Management Board of Bank Peako S.A. in Poland and was responsible for Private Banking, Marketing, and International Expansion. Before she worked as Head of the UK Team at Credit Suisse serving Ultra High Net-Worth clients from emerging Europe. Previously, she worked in managerial positions at Edmond de Rothschild, Merrill Lynch, JPMorgan and EBRD in the areas of private banking, corporate finance, and investment banking. She is a CFA Charterholder and holds a Masters degree in Engineering Science and Management and Economics from Technical University of Gdansk, Poland, and also completed executive courses at Stanford, Harvard and Singularity Universities. She is a Founding Member of the Polish City Club www.polishcityclub.com – a non-profit organisation - networking and promoting Poland abroad. Roksana is also the producer of a short film, “Battle for Britain” www.battleforbritain.net starring Julian Glover (Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Troy) which highlights the role of Polish pilots in the Battle of Britain. She is an Artist In Residence for Faberge. Her media is photography printed on aluminium and studded with ethically-sourced diamonds, sapphires and emeralds. Roksana is fascinated by incorporating science and technology into her artworks. Roksana's art has been exhibited internationally, including the Davos World Economic Forum, and has been auctioned at Sotheby’s and Phillips. She is a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum 2014 and was awarded the prestigious Newsweek Polska Award for her efforts in deepening British-Polish relations. Roksana lives in London with her husband and 2 children.
