2003, BSc in Physics, St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University; 2009, PhD in Materials Science, designing light emitting devices based on semiconductor quantum dots, MIT; postdoctoral training on development of implantable devices for simultaneous optical stimulation and electronic recording from neural circuits, Stanford University. 2011, joined the Department of Materials Science and Engineering as AMAX Career Development Assistant Professor. Lab at MIT focuses on the development of flexible and minimally invasive materials and devices for neural recording, stimulation and repair. Recipient: Sanofi Biomedical Innovation Award; NSF CAREER Award; DARPA Young Faculty Award; Dresselhaus Fund Award.
