Chair of Management Science, INSEAD; research on why existing theories governing macroeconomic growth yield unreliable forecasts; using automated authoring processes, he pioneered, has created thousands of multilingual educational materials and applied this approach to support projects sponsored by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Author, Physioeconomics: The Basis for Long-Run Economic Growth (2000).
