Dr. Yuhyun Park is the founder of the DQ Institute and a globally recognized authority on digital skills, ethics, and the digital economy. She created the Digital Intelligence (DQ) Framework (IEEE 3527.1™)—the global standard for digital literacy and skills—endorsed by the OECD, IEEE, and World Economic Forum, and implemented in over 100 countries. A pioneer in online safety, Dr. Park developed the Child Online Safety Index (COSI), the world’s first global metric for children’s online protection, and launched #DQEveryChild, a movement empowering children in more than 80 countries to be responsible digital citizens. This initiative has shaped policies and programs for organizations such as LEGO, UNESCO, the Global Cybersecurity Forum, and the World Economic Forum. She also leads innovation in Digital-ESG Standards, co-founding the Cross Economy framework with NTU as a next-generation sustainability model. Her books include IQ, EQ, DQ: New Intelligence in the AI Age and Dictionary of Economics.
Dr. Park has advised the World Economic Forum, G20 Civil Society, national governments, and global companies including TikTok, Snapchat, and Aramco. Her contributions have earned her numerous accolades, including World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, Eisenhower Fellow, Ashoka Fellow, UNESCO prizes, KAIST Future Strategy Awards, and more. Holding a Ph.D. in biostatistics from Harvard University and a bachelor’s in computer science and statistics from Seoul National University, Dr. Park continues to shape the global agenda for ethical and future-ready digital societies.
