Pankaj Paul is Director, Strategy and Innovation for Abu Dhabi-based VPS Healthcare and Director for the VPS Foundation. Before joining VPS, he managed the Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania) Entrepreneurship and Family Business Research Centre in Abu Dhabi and was also the Managing Editor for Knowledge@Wharton, the journal of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Previously, Mr. Paul was a news executive for the Gannett Company, Inc.; the Managing Editor of The News Journal and delawareonline.com, a Gannett newspaper in Delaware. Prior to that, he was the Managing Editor of the Hindustan Times, a 1.4 million circulation, English-language newspaper in India. Mr. Paul has also worked at the San Jose Mercury News and for news organizations in Florida, Pennsylvania, Colorado and New Jersey. Mr. Paul has taught at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pa. and at the University of Delaware. Mr. Paul has Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Communications; Master's degrees in Literature and Journalism. He worked on his Doctorate in Management at the University of Lisbon.
