Ovais is a Managing Director at The Abraaj Group and works within the global Private Equity team with specific focus on strategy and portfolio management. Ovais began on the operational side of Abraaj’s businesses and was part of the senior team at K-Electric serving as the Chief Marketing Officer. Ovais helped implement several major initiatives that are the focus of Harvard Business School and Wharton case studies. Ovais executed Wamda.com, the MENA region’s leading platform for entrepreneurs. He is an alumni of the LSE.
