Orhan Torul is an associate professor at the Department of Economics at Boğaziçi University, where he has served since 2013. He graduated in 2013 with a Ph.D. degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park. Since then, Dr. Torul worked also as a visiting researcher at the Istanbul School of Central Banking in 2015 and the University of Oslo in 2017. Dr. Torul’s research concentrates on macroeconomics, economic inequality political economy, public economics, computational economics, and applied econometrics.
