Narena Assefh

Global Shaper, Rosario Hub

Narena Assefh is an internationalist. She currently works as a legislative advisor and coordinates UNICEF’s MUNA initiative in Rosario. Also, she is a felow of the Federal Investment Council's program on federal development.
As a researcher with the International Finance Study Group at the Universidad Nacional de Rosario, she focuses on political economy, particularly exploring the interplay between new financial services, monetary innovations, and the sovereignty of the State. While she has published various financial articles, she has also written extensively on public education and democracy in Argentina. At university, she was recognized for her role in the co-governance body and for serving as a student advisor in discussions on innovation. She is fluent in English and Spanish, with advanced Mandarin. Narena's linguistic skills enhance her cross-cultural understanding. Outside academia, she contributes to feminist and environmental initiatives and has founded a sustainability project benefiting underprivileged communities. Additionally, she is an active member of a political party that advocates for democracy and civic participation, with prior experience in compliance and international trade.
