VP/ Governance, Risk & Compliance, responsible for Enterprise Risk Department, Credit Risk Department, Governance & Compliance Department, Cybersecurty Division and Credit Control Division. The scope of my responsibilities is related to the 2nd line of defense in SIDF. Also, Member of Management Credit Committee, Vice Chairman of the Management Risk Committee, Executive Committee and Secretary of the Risk Committee of SIDF Board of Directors.
Joined SIDF in October 2019 as Director of Credit Risk Department and appointed as a VP/Risk Management in 2020. During my work at SIDF, I played a crucial role in establishing Risk Management Department and leading the development of policies, procedures, and operational framework for SIDF's risk departments.
Nearly 23 years of experience, most of which was spent in banking. Worked at Bank Al Jazira as Regional Head of Credit Risks in the central region and as a Department Director at a Kingdom level for credit risk sectors. Also, a member of the Board of Risk Committee at Saudi Export-Import Bank and member of the Audit Committee at Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu.
Holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from King Saud University.
