United Nations Environment Goodwill Ambassador, TV host and media personality on networks such as MTV, Discovery Channel, and National Geographic. 2009, named one of Singapore’s Top 20 most influential people, CNN; named "Best TV Host", ELLE magazine. Eco-activist; has become one of Asia’s leading voices in the green movement; built one of Singapore’s first eco-homes from scratch, founded a sustainable jewellery line and started the Green Kampong project, an online resource for anyone looking for information and news on sustainable living. 2014, created Let Elephants Be Elephants, an ivory reduction campaign targeted at the South-East Asian audience, after which spent a month in Africa and Asia documenting the illegal trade and its effects for National Geographic. Now focusing efforts on supporting endangered species of Sumatra, Indonesia, such as elephants and orangutans and focusing on a holistic view that includes habitats and communities. Orchestrated the first Sumatran Elephant Roundtable in 2017, bringing together leading experts on Asian elephants to support the vision of those working in the field.
