Nadeen Matthews Blair is a leading AI and digital transformation consultant who helps organizations bridge the gap between AI and digital strategy and real-world financial results. With expertise in digital transformation and AI consulting, workforce development, and executive coaching, she ensures that businesses confidently adopt AI and digital technology to drive innovation, improve efficiency, and sharpen their competitive edge.
With over 20 years of experience at McKinsey & Company, JPMorgan Chase, and National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited (NCB), Nadeen has led large-scale AI-powered digital transformations. At NCB, she spearheaded the Caribbean’s first Agile software development lab, increasing software productivity and accelerating digital innovation. Under her leadership, the bank introduced AI-powered facial recognition for onboarding, machine learning models for pre-approved loans, and chatbot-driven customer engagement, revolutionizing Jamaica’s banking landscape and positioning NCB as a regional leader in AI-driven financial services.
Her track record of impact and thought leadership has earned her global recognition, including being named a LinkedIn Top Voice for AI and Digital Strategy (2024), one of CIO Views’ 10 Most Influential Black Corporate Women to Watch (2023), among the Top 25 Most Innovative Bankers in Latin America by FinTech Americas (2017), and a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader (2017).
A passionate advocate for AI inclusion and access, Nadeen is dedicated to ensuring that AI benefits businesses and individuals alike. She created Feature Fridays, a LinkedIn column designed to humanize AI and highlight individuals using AI for positive impact. As an Advisory Board Member for the Jamaica Artificial Intelligence Association (JAIA), she supports the organization’s mission of guiding Jamaica into the world of artificial intelligence.
As a recognized international speaker, Nadeen has spoken at global forums sponsored by UNESCO and UNDP, advocating for greater AI inclusion for the Caribbean and Small Island Developing States (SIDS). She wants to ensure that underrepresented voices actively shape the future of AI and have access to its transformative potential. Additionally, she serves as an AI columnist for Loop News, simplifying AI concepts for business leaders and everyday readers, making AI more approachable, actionable, and less intimidating.
Beyond consulting and public speaking, Nadeen is committed to education and digital equity. While previously serving as CEO of the NCB Foundation, she led a strategic transformation that tripled the number of annual beneficiaries and established the foundation as Jamaica’s premier organization for education-focused philanthropy. Her leadership earned national recognition, including the Prime Minister of Jamaica’s Medal of Appreciation for Service to Jamaica and The Gleaner Honour Award for Education. Although no longer leading the foundation, she remains dedicated to empowering underserved communities through technology and education initiatives. She continues to drive impact through board positions at the University of Technology, the Jamaica Digital Transformation Advisory Council, and the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica’s Innovation & Digital Transformation Committee, as well as through her mentorship of small businesses via RevUp Caribbean.
A firm believer in lifelong learning and work-life integration, Nadeen is a devoted wife and mother of two girls. She is an enthusiastic user of AI tools, continuously exploring how AI can enhance both personal and professional growth. She recently published a children’s e-book, “I Am What I Believe,” aimed at inspiring young minds with the power of positive thinking.
