Since 2006, Vice-President and Prime Minister, United Arab Emirates, and Ruler of Dubai; launched Vision 2021 and the UAE Government Strategy to achieve sustainable development throughout UAE; orchestrated Dubai Strategic Plan 2015, which aims to boost Dubai's role as an international economic and financial hub; launched Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation to promote human development by investing in education and development of knowledge; launched Dubai Cares, one of the biggest international humanitarian organizations fighting poverty and providing education for children worldwide, and Noor Dubai, to deliver preventative eye care to over one million people in developing countries.
