Ph.D. in Electrical Engineer (Universidad Pontificia Comillas de Madrid). From 2002 to 2008, he has been Director of the \"Instituto de Investigación Tecnológica\" IIT (Tecnological Research Institute) at Comillas University. He is Full Professor at the Electrical Engineering Department. He has participated in several consultancy and research projects concerning operation, planning, economy and regulation of electricity energy systems for several Spanish and foreign firms and regulatory commissions, related with the electricity industry.
