Started second company, Rosum, which developed a location technology using TV signals to augment GPS; became CTO. 2003, embarked on a journey with the goal of ensuring the ability for families to have a healthy child, leading to the creation of Natera. Authority in the field of prenatal and preconception informatics-based genetic testing. Principal Investigator on six research grants awarded by the National Institutes of Health. Presents at medical conferences around the world. Board member, adviser and angel investor for technology companies in biotech, communications, cleantech and healthcare. Recipient of awards: Scott Helt Memorial Award, IEEE; one of the top 35 technology innovators under 35 in the US, MIT Technology Review Magazine; 100 Technology Pioneers award, World Economic Forum.
