Marvin Rees OBE is a sought after public speaker, event host, writer and broadcaster and part of a global network of current and former city mayors. He specialises in cities, their relationship with climate change and migration, how they are financed and how they are led.
He is the former mayor of Bristol. He is an Honorary Industrial Professor at the Cabot Institute, University of Bristol, He holds Honorary Fellowships with the UK Faculty of Public Health, the Royal Society of Arts and the Royal Institute of British Architects. He is a Ted Fellow and was the joint winner of the Penn Institute for Urban Research’s Urban Leadership Award.
