Joyce Ma joined TNC China in September 2016 as Chief Executive Officer, overseeing strategic planning and project management for the China Program. She is working with the TNC China Board to bring together entrepreneurs with the most innovative conservation ideas, applying TNC’s 65 years of experience protecting critical lands and waters, to further China’s sustainable development. She leads a team of 70 to advance conservation efforts through projects in Yunnan, Inner Mongolia, Sichuan, Shanghai and Zhejiang.

Before joining TNC, Joyce was the CEO of the Customer Unit for China Unicom, Vice CEO for Northeast Asia at Ericsson, and HR Department Head at Ericsson.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from North Western University, China, and an MBA from Fuqua, Duke University, USA.
