Lillian Secelela Madeje, uses the power of innovation and engagement to serve the global community. A business evangelist and serial entrepreneur, Lillian has founded/co-founded four businesses to date that range from, a boutique consulting company, a tech startup mapping skills platform, an annual experiential innovative and tech conference, to a recent food franchise. Passionately driven by the power of human capital to transform the nation, she has worked with various academic institutions in designing curriculum around entrepreneurship, innovation and the future of work.

Coming to the table with more than 11 years of experience of working in the human capital business, consulting with national and international organisations around the space of organisational development and qualitative research, Lillian is known to juggle many ball in the air at any one point in time a credit to her project management skills.

Not a stranger to the startup ecosystem in Tanzania, she has worked with organisations such as ILO under Global Entrepreneurship flag in running Hackathons and startup challenges as well as with Bits and Bytes Innovations with organisations such as NCBAA (then CBA), AbinBev Africa zone, East Africa Institute of the Aga Khan University, TWAWEZA and so on. In addition she is an accomplished HCD expert having worked on qualitative research projects with IDEO.org around financial inclusion, as well as facilitating the Bill and Melinda Gates(BMGF) Grand Challenge Exploration 2019, Energy Safari under the HIVOS program, WFP Tanzania Innovation Safari as well as taking part in the WFP-X Accelerator 2021.

In addition to the Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, with emphasis in International Business and Marketing / Economics minor that she earned from Park, Lillian holds an MBA from the African Leadership University, School of Business (ALUSB) based in Kigali, Rwanda. She is also a proud recipient of the Sherwood Marlowe Memorial Award from her alma mater which recognizes alumni for volunteer services and civic engagement.she also sits on boards of innovative organisations such as JUMO Tanzania, Tanzania Startup Association, Global Entrepreneurship Network Tanzania, Digital Opportunity Trust Tanzania and Majicom (empowering communities with sustainable water systems)
