Taking on full responsibility of the Memory Business since his appointment in June 2014, he also concurrently holds the position of Head of the Memory Sales & Marketing team. Dr. Jun has diverse experience covering both DRAM and Flash engineering at Samsung Electronics. He earned his bachelor?s degree in electrical engineering from Hanyang University (1984), and both M.S. (1986) and Ph.D. (1989) degrees from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science (KAIST). He designed analog circuits as a research associate at the Coordinated Science Laboratory, University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign.
