Professor Julian Savulescu is Uehiro Chair in Practical Ethics at University of Oxford. He holds degrees in medicine, neuroscience and bioethics. He directs the Oxford Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics, Oxford Centre for Neuroethics, and Oxford Martin School programme on Collective Responsibility for Infectious Disease. He edits the Journal of Medical Ethics and Journal of Practical Ethics. He is Louis Matheson Distinguished Visiting Professor at Monash University. He won ‘Thinkers’ category of The Australian’s Top 100 Emerging Leaders awards.
