Upon his mandatory retirement, having led EY in Peru for nearly two decades, Jorge accepted the invitation to chair the Peruvian chapter of Transparency International, PROETICA, a movement whose vision is to led efforts for a country free of corruption. Jorge is also a board member at Asociación Civil Transparencia, an organization that works for strengthening the democracy in Peru. In addition, he is a member of the advisory boards at Adolfo Ibáñez School of Management of Miami and the Graduate School of Universidad del Pacifico, as well as the management programs of UPC and Universidad Catolica del Peru. Jorge has been a board member of Perú 2021 and IPAE Accion Empresarial, where he chaired their Transparency and Business Integrity committees. He has also been the president of the Peruvian Institute of Independent Auditors, and was a board member at CONFIEP and ENDEAVOR Peru, among other organizations. Jorge is a columnist at El Comercio newspaper and an invited lecturer on transparency and corporate governance subject matters.
