Jonathan is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Binary Capital, an early stage technology-focused investment firm in Silicon Valley. Prior to founding Binary, Jonathan was a Managing Director at General Catalyst Partners and Principal at Benchmark Capital, where he invested in technology companies including Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, Couchsurfing, Hortonworks and Chloe and Isabel. Jonathan was an early Engineering Manager at Google where he led the company's international R&D and infrastructure expansion efforts. He is a graduate of Stanford University and Sydney University and has published works and patents in the fields of wireless networking and mobile security. Jonathan grew up Singapore and Australia, and is an avid traveler.
