Jonathan Teklu is CEO of Tio Holdings, with which he invested early in startups like Airbnb, Amorelie, Choco, Enpal, One Football, Miles, MySugr, Numa, Uber and Trade Republic. He is also developing the 40.000 sqm creative cosmos Kalle Neukölln in Berlin including food markets, retail spaces, startup offices and a university campus. After selling his online media company Global Leads Group, where he served as co-founder & CEO, to Holtzbrinck Digital, he co-founded the investment firm Springstar, where he was part of the team leading the expansion of Airbnb’s international operations. He later served as Venture Partner at early stage VC firm Creandum. Teklu also published the #1 Amazon bestseller book Uckermark Porträts, his illustrated journey during lockdown through the countryside outside of Berlin portraying 100+ people from Uckermark. He graduated from WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management as Vodafone Scholar and started the Global Shapers Berlin Hub as its Founding Curator.
