Zhengping（John）Zhang, son of SOKON GROUP Chairman Mr. Xinghai Zhang, is an inspiring global executive with strong leadership, organizational and technical skills that are critical to business success.

Since May 2016, John has been CEO of SF Motors, Inc., an advanced electric intelligent vehicle company based in Silicon Valley. In this position, he maintains overall responsibilities for SF Motors, overseeing its operations in product development, manufacturing, sales and services, finance, human resources, etc. With his strong
leadership, SF Motors has grown from a 20-people small entity into a full-fledged corporation with 200 plus employees; he was instrumental in establishing SF Motors’ operations in four countries (the U.S., China, Germany and Japan) and eight locations and building a diversified global work force into an effective and well-coordinated “one team with one voice and one goal”. Currently he is leading the global team to actively develop multiple highly competitive electric intelligent vehicle products to be launched in the near future.

Concurrently John is COO, Intelligent Vehicle of CHONGQING SOKON INDUSTRY GROUP STOCK CO., LTD., the grandparent company of SF Motors, a position he has held since January 2016. As a COO, Intelligent Vehicle of the Company, he maintains in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of business environment and provides solid foundational work for critical strategic projects; he collaborates and coordinates with stakeholders in structuring and solving business problems; he integrates functional expert resources across the Company to guarantee successful outcomes.
