Joined Standard Chartered in April 2018 to lead the coverage of the bank’s Public Sector and Development Organisations clients in the ASEAN and South Asia region. Responsible for delivering bespoke financing, transaction banking and risk management solutions drawing on the bank’s full product spectrum. Prior to his current role, Jason was at HSBC, Global Banking for over 5 years. He was initially based in Hong Kong providing financing solutions to Bank sector clients across their North Asian footprint before being appointed to drive HSBC’s Public Sector expansion in key ASEAN markets and set up Singapore as the sector team' ASEAN hub.
Jason started his career at Lloyds Bank in the FIG Debt Capital Markets Origination team in London as part of the build out of the bank’s capital market’s offering. In 2009, he was transferred by Lloyds Bank to Hong Kong to establish their inaugural Financial Institutions Commercial
Banking hub for Asia. Jason graduated from University College London with a degree in
Economics and Business and holds a Masters in Insurance and Risk Management from Cass Business School, UK.
