HRH Princess Carolina de Borbon Parma has held a career with the United Nations since early 2000 in, amongst others, New York, Eritrea, Palestine, Indonesia, Haiti and Geneva. She has worked primarily with the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and held various positions within that office. She holds and MA in Political Science from the University of Amsterdam, a special student certificate from Harvard University and an MSc in Forced Migration from Oxford University. She is currently based in Zurich and is establishing a National Committee for UNRWA in Switzerland, where together with her colleague in Geneva, she aims to raise awareness about the plight of the Palestine Refugee and establish relationships with the public and private sector to contribute to the well being of the Refugees. She is also on the board of directors of the Human Dignity Foundation as well as The Hague Process on Refugees and Migration.
