Gonzalo is the Global General Counsel - Anti-Corruption & Third Party Compliance at Unilever where he is not only responsible for the rolling out of these two global programmes internally but also for the external engagement strategy that ensures Unilever works collaboratively with other business, governments, international organisations and civil society in these areas. Previously, he was GSK’s Anti-Corruption Director and before then the Head of Legal Projects at the International Bar Association where he led major global anti-corruption projects with organisations such as the OECD and UNODC. Gonzalo offers the GFC a unique business integrity perspective based on his experience in the private, public and public policy sectors, as well as his recognition as a thought leader in the field. He also brings a global perspective thanks to his early career in Colombia and a professional history with experience in more than 20 countries. Whilst at GSK, Gonzalo's work on regulatory change around the use of e-government as an anti-corruption tool was awarded the 2018 TRACE Global Award on Innovation on Anti-Bribery Compliance.
