Gerardo Adesso is a Full Professor of Mathematical Physics at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom, and leader of the Quantum Correlations research team http://quantumcorrelations.weebly.com. His research interests are mainly in the fundamental investigation of the border between classical and quantum world. He has provided leading contributions to the characterisation of all forms of quantum correlations and their operational applications to quantum technologies. His research further extends to quantum optics, condensed matter physics, and thermodynamics.
