Forsan Hussein is an international investor, entrepreneur, turnaround CEO, and board member with deep expertise in venture capital, private equity, and cross-border transactions across the USA, Asia, and MENA markets.
Forsan serves as a Managing Partner of Yasui & Co., a global boutique investment bank and venture studio. Previously, Forsan was the CEO of Zaitoun Ventures, an investment and advisory firm focused on early-stage technology companies and operating businesses with a mission to bridge markets and foster inclusive innovation. He also serves as the Chairman of Doxy Tech Ltd, a green energy EPCM company developing solar energy projects and large-scale infrastructure initiatives to improve energy security across MENA. He is also the Co-Founder and Founding Chairman of Hasoub Angels, the first angel investment network backing Palestinian entrepreneurs and Arab-Israeli tech startups.
Earlier in his career, Forsan worked at Capital Group Companies He later took on the role of turnaround CEO of the Jerusalem International YMCA and the Three Arches Company, leading a successful transformation of a historic and complex institution.
Forsan was the first Palestinian to chair publicly traded companies on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange where he led corporate governance efforts and growth strategy during critical phases. He continues to advise and mentor startup CEOs and actively supports nonprofits and community development initiatives.
A Kauffman Fellow for innovation investing, Forsan is also a Fellow at the Aspen Institute, a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network, and a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum.
He holds a B.A. from Brandeis University, an M.A. in International Economics and International Relations from Johns Hopkins SAIS, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
