1979, graduate, Polytechnic University of Aeronautical Engineers, Madrid. 1990, graduated as Flight Test Engineer, Ecole du Personnel Navigant d'Essais et de Réception (EPNER). 1979, began professional career with McDonnell Douglas, Long Beach, California as Performance Engineer, flight test department. Three years later, joined Airbus as Performance Engineer, flight division. Became Flight Test Engineer, responsible for aircraft performance of the A330, A340 and A321. 1995-2002, responsible for the development of flight controls and handling qualities during the flight test programmes of the A319, A330-200, A340-500 and A340-600. Subsequently, involved in the organization and coordination of the flight test campaign of the A380. From February 2002, Vice-President, Flight Test Division. From September 2007, Senior Vice-President, Flight and Integration Tests; Head of Flight Operations. March 2015, became Head of Military Aircraft, Airbus Defence and Space. Member, Airbus Defence and Space Executive Committee. July 2015, appointed to the Airbus Group Executive Committee. Involved in the French charity Pour un Sourire d'Enfant. Interests: skiing, family and friends, flight tests.
