With wide-ranging international experience in cross-cultural environments (Argentina, Germany, Guatemala, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and the Netherlands), Federica has professional experience in UN Agencies, diplomatic missions, international organizations, NGO, and the private sector.
Federica is currently working as Business Development Consultant at Luiss Business School, supporting the growth of the School. She is also passionate about development and she gained experience in Gender and Social Inclusion at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), and in Partnerships and Communications at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Previously, she served as Interinstitutional Partnerships intern at the EU-LAC Foundation, an IO based in Hamburg dedicated to fostering the strategic partnership between the EU-Latin America and the Caribbean. She also provided her support to the political and economic departments of the Embassy of Italy in Nairobi.
As a volunteer, she took part in women’s empowerment and food security (Guatemala); environmental protection (the Netherlands); and poverty alleviation (Argentina,Italy) projects. She also served as an UN Online Volunteer by designing social and digital media marketing content to promote climate change news. She is now a member of the Global Shapers Community, a network of inspiring young people under the age of 30 working together to address local, regional, and global challenges. Federica speaks fluent Italian, English and Spanish, and she is studying French.
As a student, Federica graduated with honors in Political Science (BA), International Relations (Double MA), and Governance (MA). During her academic career, Federica took part in the ERASMUS program in Madrid and in a Double MA program in IR, studying one year in Buenos Aires, where she had the chance to critically examine the history, culture, and politics of Latin American countries. In 2020, Federica was awarded a full scholarship by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to attend a second MA in Governance.
