Dr. Fareeha Adil is a PhD Economics, specializing in Financial Inclusion. Her core areas of research are Fin Inclusion, Evidence-use in Policy, Social Protection, Education, SDGs, Gender, SMEs, Trade & Fiscal Policy.

Professionally she has 19 yrs of work experience, where for 7 yrs she worked in the Banking & Fin sector of Pak. She also worked in Govt sector, headed a Public Sector Dev. Project, PSDP (Capital Cost $154 Mill) by Planning Comm. of Pak where she gained exposure to policy making.

Dr. Fareeha is a trainer of BCURE (Building Capacity Using Research Evidence), a flagship program of Evidence for Policy Design (EPoD) Unit, J.F. Kennedy School of Public Policy, Harvard Uni. She received Training of the Trainers (ToT) by faculty of Harvard Kennedy School & delivers multiple modules of Evidence based policy to all tiers of Civil Services of Pak (Commons Training Program (CTP); Sr. Management Course (SMC) & Mid-Career Management Course (MCMC) at National Institute of Management (NIM). She also attended, Harvard University, in 2018 for the high-powered program of Rethinking Fin Inclusion. She recently completed The Public Leadership Credential (PLC), a year long, Public-Policy & Evidence program, conducted by Faculty of Harvard – Kennedy School of Govt. She is also the faculty member for ‘Evidence Based Program Design Workshop’ by Harvard Kennedy School, Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), MIT, CLEAR, & CERP.

Dr. Adil is currently a senior researcher working in the capacity of Research Fellow, Economic Cluster & Head-Center of Evidence Action Research at SDPI, a leading policy research think tank of Pak with activities across Central & South Asia. Dr. Adil has worked extensively with Int. Dev actors such as Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, ODI-UK, Oxford Policy Management, GIZ, ILO, World Bank, FCDO, ADB, IIED, Adam Smith International, US Dept. of State, EdTech Hub Global, Southern Voice Global, CAREC Institute China, Embassy of Netherlands, SAARC, Karandaaz, REMIT & PIDE.
