BA, Brown University; PhD, MIT. Teaches at Princeton University. Inaugural Director, Kahneman-Treisman Center for Behavioral Science and Public Policy. Co-Founder, ideas42, a social science R&D lab. Research focuses on decision-making in contexts of poverty and on the application of behavioural research to policy. Served on President Obama's Advisory Council on Financial Capability. Editor, The Behavioral Foundations of Public Policy (2012). Co-Author, Scarcity: Why Having Too Little Means So Much (2013). Recipient of awards, most recently a Guggenheim Fellowship.
