Yilong Du is the Managing Partner of the Beijing office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Corporate Department. Mr. Du has extensive experience advising on equity capital markets transactions in Mainland China, Hong Kong and the US and on cross-border mergers and acquisitions. Over the years, he has advised leading Chinese blue chip companies, many of the most active state-owned enterprises and a number of the largest private companies in China.
Mr. Du has deep knowledge about US securities regulations, Hong Kong listing rules and SFC regulations, with significant experience advising on securities regulations and general company representation matters. His practice focuses on:

He has more than 10 years of experience practicing law at prominent Wall Street law firms and at a global investment bank, focusing on securities regulations and corporate matters in the US, Hong Kong and the PRC.
Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Du was executive director and senior counsel in the Hong Kong office of a leading US investment bank, where he led the legal efforts for most of the bank’s investment banking transactions for China and worked closely with senior leadership and financial institutions on various corporate transactions.
He is fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin).
